Acceptance of contributions, gifts or grants is at the discretion of TeSito Providential Developments. TeSito Providential Developments will not accept gifts unless they can be used or spent in accordance with the Bylaws or the purpose and mission of TeSito Providential Developments.
No irrevocable gifts will be accepted, whether gifts without consideration or lifetime gifts, if under reasonable circumstances the gift would jeopardize the financial security of the donor.
TeSito Providential Developments does not provide advice on the tax or other treatment of gifts and encourages donors to consult their own professional advisors to assist them in making their gift.
TeSito Providential Developments accepts donations in the form of cash or marketable securities. In-kind donations are accepted at the discretion of TeSito Providential Developments.
Certain other gifts, real estate, personal property, in-kind donations, non-liquid securities of value, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in any way must be reviewed prior to acceptance as they may involve special obligations or liabilities for TeSito Providential Developments.
TeSito Providential Developments will issue donation receipts to donors who meet tax requirements for the in-kind donation received by the nonprofit as a gift. However, with the exception of gifts of cash and marketable securities, no statement of value will be included on the donation receipt or other form of evidence of a gift received by TeSito Providential Developments.
TeSito Providential Developments respects the donor's intent with respect to earmarked gifts and with respect to the desire to remain anonymous. For anonymous gifts, TeSito Providential Developments limits information about the donor to employees who need to know.
TeSito Providential Developments does not compensate third parties for referring a gift or donor to TeSito Providential Developments, whether through commissions, referral fees or other means.
